Human respiratory syncytial virus(RSV) is a syncytial virus that cause respiratory tract infections. It is a major cause of lower respiratory tract infections and hospital visits during infancy and childhood.
Adenovirus infections most commonly cause illness of the respiratory system; however, depending on the infecting serotype, they may also cause various other illnesses and presentations. It is a major agent of pneumonia and acute respiratory disease, mainly caused by serotypes 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 14.
